II am majoring in environmental science. I only have my high school diploma right now but hopefully that will change when I finish my time at IUPUI. I chose environmental science because I have had an interest in the functions of the Earth since I was little. I am hoping to find a career in meteorology because that will always be relevant to our society.  Indiana is a state that needs to constantly monitor the weather because it can become severe so I will not have any trouble finding work.

I am not sure what specific career in meteorology that I want to pursue yet.  My goal is to find a meaningful job that will assist in detecting the weather. I am not looking to become a tv personality but would rather work with the machinery. My goal in life is to be able to support myself and my hobbies. I want to enjoy my career which is why I picked meteorlogy as my goal.
